Ahhh, young love

Well, I honestly thought we would have a few years under our belt before having to deal with this, but it's happened already.
My daughter is in love. With a tomato. His name is Bob and he hangs out with a cool cucumber named Larry.
Most of you know I myself have been in love with Veggie Tales for quite some time. Well, just the other day Hannah and I went shopping with my Mom and found some Veggie videos on sale, so of course I had to buy a couple. Well, the first time we put the video on Hannah was in a trance, she loved it!!! She talked to the TV and kicked and laughed THE ENTIRE TIME THE VIDEO WAS PLAYING!!!! What can I say? At least she's got good taste :)

sleep glorious sleep

As most new mothers I'm sure, I love watching Hannah. Waking, sleeping, whatever the case may be, she never ceases to amaze me. Over the holidays, we've all been doing a lot of one thing, however... sleeping. And I'm loving it!!! As with everything that involves our little peanut, we've managed to capture some pictures and thought we'd share them with you.

This is one of my favorites. Kevin had just gotten home from work. I was in the kitchen making dinner and had left Hannah and Kevin playing happily on the floor. I noticed it had gotten a little quiet, and came in the room to find both of them out cold!

This is definately not a normal occurance around the Hoffmann household. Very rarely do I get to actually sleep with my baby. Once she's out I'm usually up. Not today, however. We had a great nap, Hannah and I and we both woke up refreshed.

This one was just taken today. Hannah was happily playing away on her play mat when sleep came calling.

One last thing! I'd like to welcome Shiloh Renner to the world and to the family. He was born yesterday to my cousin Marita and her husband Zach. He's beautiful, healthy and I can't wait to see him in person! Congrats, Marita and Zach! Enjoy every minute!!!
